Christ-Centered ministry partnership in japan

See, understand, and support the work being done in Japan by ministries and missionaries.

FAR East Project

Leadership and Character Development for Youths

A Simple Overview

The Far East Project exists to connect Christians in the U.S. with local ministries in Japan.

We bring small groups to Japan to:

  • build real relationships with pastors and ministry leaders

  • understand the reality of the church in Japan

  • return home prepared to support that work long-term

This differs from the traditional mission trip. You will be stepping into work that already exists. Your role is less concerned with doing the work, and more concerned with support those that live in Japan and do the work every day.

How the Programs Work

All programs follow the same structure:

  • Direct engagement with Japanese ministry partners

  • A responsibility-based environment (you will be expected to contribute)

  • No manufactured service projects

  • A focus on long-term relationship, not short-term output
